Description
This contract will provide a route to opportunities to deliver adult learning courses via Adult Skills Fund Adult Core (formula funded) and Skills Fund Tailored Learning for Merton residents, and aims to improve the skills, wellbeing, and employability of adults within the Borough.
MAL partners will deliver provisions that can enhance and expand on the curriculum offer, this includes courses that:
- Meet the needs of local employers.
- Enable learners to enhance their skills and progress into good work.
- Address the need for the future workforce in green skills.
- Improve health and wellbeing and reduce social isolation.
- Enable intergenerational learning through family learning.
- Develop the range of courses for learners with poor mental health, learning difficulties, or disabilities.
