Adult Learning Services in Merton

This contract will deliver adult learning opportunities via formula funded accredited and non-accredited courses, and community learning courses for Merton residents, and aims to improve the opportunities, wellbeing and employability of adults within the Borough.

Successful bidders will form an approved provider list of suppliers that MAL will call off at appropriate times during the contract period when delivery is required to meet learner needs. There is no guarantee of work for providers appointed as an approved provider.

This procurement is for the creation of an Approved Partner List under the Light Touch Regime (LTR) that can be called off at any time during the contract period to deliver adult learning provision. The procurement requirements encompass local and national skills needs, requirements of our main funders the GLA and the ESFA, and the Ofsted Inspection Framework.

The formation of the Approved Partner List supports the Merton Adult Learning commitment of providing high quality and sustainable adult learning to improve the social, economic, health and wellbeing outcomes of our residents, through commissioning provision to the best learning partners in the field.
