Description
The Council requires the provision of mobile phones and tablets to replace the existing hardware which is nearing the end of its support lifecycle and will no longer be receiving security updates. Continuing to use unsupported devices presents information security and operational risks, including increased vulnerability to malware, data theft, unauthorised access and remote hacking. Replacement devices are therefore required to ensure that Council users have access to secure, supported and fit-for-purpose technology.
The required goods will be procured through Lot 8 – of the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) Technology Catalogue of the Technology Products and Associated Services 2 Framework Agreement RM6098
