Insourcing of Breast Radiology Services

This is a Provider Selection Regime Wales (PSR Wales) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded based on a framework agreement without a competition, for the avoidance of doubt this notice does not represent a modification of contract.

SBUHB require support from an Independent Provider to be able to deliver a specialist Breast Radiology Service.

The requirement is for a specialist Breast Radiologist to carry out approximately 25.5 hours per week for up to 5 months providing the following services:

One-Stop Breast Clinic (4 Clinics per Week, seeing 12 patients per Clinic)

Mammography Reporting

CT Reporting

MDT Preparations and Presentation

This notice is an intention to award a contract based on a framework agreement with a competition.

Framework: Health trust Europe - HTE_0041 clinical insourcing.

Estimated lifetime value of the contract is GBP 98,200.00.

Estimated contract term is 10th August 2026 to 9th January 2027, exact contract date will be determined on conclusion of contract award.
