Description
Trent & Dove Housing is seeking to appoint a single suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide a comprehensive asbestos surveying service across its housing portfolio.
The Contract includes, but is not limited to, the delivery of Management Surveys, Refurbishment and Demolition (R&D) Surveys, Reinspection Surveys, targeted surveys, communal area surveys, roofline and guttering surveys, consultancy support, asbestos sampling, laboratory analysis, asbestos register updates and associated compliance reporting.
The successful Contractor will be responsible for undertaking surveys in occupied and void properties, communal areas and other assets owned or managed by Trent & Dove Housing. Survey information shall be provided electronically and integrated with Trent & Dove Housing's asbestos management system to support statutory compliance, asset management and ongoing risk management.
The Contract also includes resident liaison, programme management, quality assurance, technical support, performance reporting and the provision of professional advice to assist Trent & Dove Housing in meeting its duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The proposed Contract term is an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend for two further periods of twelve (12) months (3+1+1).

Interested suppliers are invited to participate in this Pre-Market Engagement (PME) exercise by reviewing and completing the PME Questionnaire provided with this notice. The purpose of this engagement is to gather supplier insight, innovation, and feedback to help Trent & Dove Housing shape the upcoming Asbestos Survey Services procurement. This includes the provision of reinspection, management, targeted, and refurbishment asbestos surveys across our housing stock, along with accurate reporting and data management to maintain regulatory compliance. Suppliers should: Download and complete the PME Questionnaire attached to this notice. Submit their completed response by email to [email protected], clearly marked “PME Response – Asbestos Surveys - ID692”. Ensure responses are submitted by the stated closing date. All information gathered will be used solely to inform the future procurement approach and specification. Participation in this exercise is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a formal tender or prequalification. Trent & Dove Housing may use the feedback received to refine its requirements, evaluation approach, and contract structure. Suppliers who engage in this PME will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any future tender process.
