What happened
The contract runs until 1 Nov 2029.
Description
Trinity House will be running this procurement to create a framework for the supply of marine lanterns, with a clause to allow the Northern Lighthouse Board to utilise the framework agreement, and to participate in evaluation. The two organisations use lanterns of various colours, sizes and ranges across various modes of Aids to Navigation (AtoNs). The units must meet IALA standards for chromaticity regions for all required colours. A link to the IALA website (below), can be used as a guide to our potential requirements. The contract term under an Open Framework will last a maximum of eight years.

We are running a Request for Information (RFI) process for this requirement. All suppliers that are interested in this process, please email [email protected] to express your interest, and a Request for Information pack will be sent to you. We would like you to review the documents and send us your feedback as soon as possible. Please see below for the RFI dates: 15th of June 2026 - 25th of June 2026 25th of June 2026 will be the final day a RFI can be requested. We would like all supplier replies to be received before 17:00 GMT 30th of June 2026 for our review.
