Description
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is published to invite suitable training/consulting organisations to provide proposals for ‘The Provision of Essential Leadership and People Management Training Programmes’ to the Food Drink Ireland Skillnet. The primary objective of all our leadership courses is for participants to understand what it means to be an effective leader while successfully learning the skills required to lead high performing teams at various levels across the food and drink sector. Our courses must be relevant to those in a variety of roles and levels from Team Leader (recently promoted from an operative position) to Senior Managers.
For all programmes, development of essential people management skills is critical, particularly in the context of a high speed and multi-cultural production environment. In terms of certification, our members have mixed views. For some, it is mandatory as they like the guaranteed standard of an accreditation.
On the other hand, many prefer the flexibility that comes with non-certified training.
