Paisley Grammar School Community Campus - Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Renfrewshire Council requires a Building Information Modelling (BIM) manager for the Paisley Grammar School Community Campus (PGSCC) project.

The purpose of this project is for the appointment of a project information management services to support the client organisation/ contracting authority during the project delivery phases.

This procurement is for the appointment of a Building Information Modelling (BIM) to join Renfrewshire Council’s team for the development of a new Passivhaus Secondary School in line with the SFT LEIP requirements. The School will be constructed on a site which has been acquired by the Council which was part of the former Chivas Brothers bottling plant at 111-113 Renfrew Road, Paisley, PA3 4DY (the “Site”). The new school will integrate the school with both the local community and enterprise opportunities to form a new Paisley Grammar School Community Campus (PGSCC). The project will require to attain the SFT LEIP metrics, to achieve this the school will be to a Passivhaus standard.

The purpose of this project is for the appointment of a Building Information Modelling (BIM) to deliver project information management services to support the client organisation/ contracting authority during the project delivery phases.

The project will be managed by an in-house Project Management Team, who may be supported by an external Project Manager at key milestones. The Project Management Team will be assisted by a Multi-Disciplinary Design Team, Quantity Surveyor, BIM Manager, Principal Designer and Passivhaus Certifier procured via an appropriate procurement route.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
