Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Person Lifting Equipment

The Council require to establish a contract with a Service Provider(s) in relation to the Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Person Lifting Equipment throughout East Ayrshire over a contract term of 3 years, with 2 one-year extension options. This contract is divided into Lots and providers can bid on as many Lots as they wish.

It should be noted that the deadline for expressions of interest is 12:00 noon on 24 March 2024 and the deadline for actual submission of

tender is 12:00 noon on 27 March 2024.

A summary of the expected community benefits has been provided as follows:

Clause 8.4 of the ITT document states ‘The Service Provider(s) shall reimburse the Council 1% of total spend per Lot in the form of a Community Benefit Fund’. In addition, in the attachment area of this ITT on PCS-T, Method Statement (A) must be completed and returned. Answers to Question 11 should detail what community benefits will be provided in the East Ayrshire area which will enhance and assist the community.
