Development, Maintenance, Support and Improvement Services for the SOLAS Moodle Infrastructure

SOLAS has put in place a federated Moodle infrastructure to meet the VLE (virtual learning environment) needs of the Further Education and Training (FET) sector in Ireland. SOLAS requires services to: 1) monitor, maintain and update the federated Moodle infrastructure, while ensuring continual improvement in performance and usability; 2) design and implement seamless integration solutions to SOLAS and FET systems and maintain existing web services integrations between these systems; 3) provide customisation and reporting solutions to increase the efficiency, usability, reliability and reporting of the usage of the federated Moodle infrastructure; 4) provide efficient, responsive and robust contract management solutions and processes; 5) provide strategic expertise to SOLAS in designing and implementing solutions for online and blended learning across FET using the federated Moodle infrastructure; 6) provide training sessions to ETB users.
